“WE ARE ONE”

 

In April I’ve had the opportunity to leave to New York for two months.

I used the diversity of people living there and did a photo series that I had in mind for a while. 

 

You might be asking yourself why is the project called “WE ARE ONE” and what it is about. 

You can read the thought right from the title. Nowadays we don’t have to travel far to meet a person of a different nationality. 

 

What I am trying to say.. when we think about it, we have all the same origin. 

Even if we might think how different we all are in the end we have much more in common and are connected more than it might seem. We don’t have to talk about skin color but maybe about the characteristics in the face and body, eye, lip, and hair color. 

Another thing that connects us might be the place we spend time, things we do and the energy we emit. 

 

Based on this thought I was randomly addressing and taking photos of people that were open to being part of my project.
